The Professional Cloud Architect certification exam assesses your ability to design and plan cloud solution architecture, manage and provision cloud solution infrastructure, design for security and compliance, analyze and optimize technical and business processes, manage implementation, and ensure solution and operations reliability. This certification is recommended for individuals with 3+ years of industry experience including 1+ years designing and managing solutions using Google Cloud.

This exam is for you if:
- ✓You have 3+ years of industry experience in IT or cloud computing
- ✓You have 1+ years hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform

- ✓You manage and provision cloud infrastructure for production workloads
- ✓You are pursuing a senior or architect-level cloud role
This exam may not be for you if:
- ⚠You are new to cloud computing with no hands-on experience
- ⚠You have not worked with Google Cloud specifically
- ⚠You are looking for an entry-level or associate-level certification
- ⚠You primarily work with on-premises infrastructure and have not managed cloud workloads
Recommended Prerequisites
- Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer certification (recommended)
- Familiarity with compute, networking, storage, and database services on GCP
- Experience with IAM, security policies, and compliance frameworks
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
